Our story, a charming guesthouse in Portugal

Casa Fonte Nova is a charming guesthouse in Portugal, located in the small village of Covões, in the Central region. From the very first visit, we fell in love with this character house, which had been empty for several years.

Originally built in 1939, the house was fully renovated in 2024. However, our goal was clear from the start: preserve its soul while adding comfort and modern touches. Step by step, the project came to life, driven by patience, passion and many shared adventures.

As a result, Casa Fonte Nova has become more than a place to stay. It is a personal life project that we are proud to share with our guests.

We are Philippe and Soisick, and we welcome guests as hosts who truly care. At our charming guesthouse in Portugal, we choose a simple, attentive and human approach to hospitality.

Because we live on site, we are always available. We enjoy taking time to talk, give advice and help guests shape their stay according to their wishes, the season and the length of their visit. Here, life moves at a slower pace, and every stay is meant to feel authentic and relaxed.

Local flavours and homemade breakfasts

At Casa Fonte Nova, hospitality also means good food. Cooking has always been a passion for Soisick, especially when it involves fresh and local products.

Every stay in our guesthouse includes a homemade breakfast, prepared with seasonal ingredients and short supply chains. We proudly serve eggs from our hens and vegetables grown in our own garden.

In addition, dinner can be enjoyed on site upon request. It is a wonderful way to discover local flavours and share a warm moment together.
